Welcome to within Reality
Each of us came into the lifestyle in one form or another. Whether it was a fantasy driven by a Penthouse magazine, or reading the perils of some damsel in distress. Most of us found an enticing eroticism associated with the lifestyle and the prospects that are generated from it. Weaning the path away from the eroticism and to focus on what is actually possible becomes the real challenge.
Hence, our focus on reality was born.
So what does within reality mean?
Even though there's no one "right way" to discover one's reality, many people think this lifestyle is a fantasy or that it can't be done in real life. Well, not only do we think it can be lived within reality, we believe that it goes beyond the orgasm, beyond the titillating fantasies, and other masturbational fodder we read on the internet. Reality says that life has bills, work (sometimes more then one jobs), floors to scrub, counters to clean, laundry to tend to, and cars to be serviced. But we also can have a power exchange while doing all of those things. These tasks are all a part of reality, but so is the power exchange.
Does that mean that masturbational fodder is bad or wrong? Not at all. In fact, the mere creativity of everyone even interested in the lifestyle can promote different ideas. Obviously some ideas can't work like the ballgag at Wal*Mart or chained to the bed when the home repair person is suppose to show up. But even the innocuous, almost invisible things that can be done in a vanilla society, make the power exchange a 24/7 reality.
So as we brainstormed over possible domain names, we really wanted to create a website to share our journey and offer our own view of how we live our daily lives within a vanilla world. On one of our roadtrips we pulled out lists and started discussing prospective names. There was only one real strong candidate and one that we kept coming back to: Within Reality. Not only did the term bring many of the concepts and ideology to the forefront, but is resonated deep within us and to a lot of people we have been blessed to have known with our journey.
